Art, in itself, is an attempt to bring order out of chaos.

Stephen Sondheim
“You chose books, I chose looks” - Zinnia Wormwood, Matilda (1996) ✨💅🏻✨ Now that the DC theatre scene is back in full swing, I’m so excited to announce the debut of my new and improved website dedicated to law, theatre, and social justice advocacy. ✨⚖️🎭✨ Visit the link in my bio to check it out! “I found a rainbow, baby” - Kesha (2017) ✨🌈✨ “There will not be a time in the United States again when a woman of means does not have access to a safe abortion…the women who don’t have that wherewithal…will suffer.” - Justice Ginsburg (2016) 31 is off to a ✨magical✨ start! Too exhausted for a caption. Thank god for protest puppies. This has been their plan all along. For decades. This is just the beginning of the end to so much progress, so many rights and liberties that we’ve worked to protect are at risk. And the people who are tearing down these freedoms are the exact people who will always have the money, privilege, and status to exercise them regardless of what the law says. This fight was never about health or religion or even babies. It has always been about control - control over our bodies, our choices, our financial freedom. This is what we’ve been warning would happen. This is why we cried in the streets on November 8, 2016. We knew this was coming. And they did nothing to stop it from happening. At least two out of nine justices sit in stolen seats; illegitimate and immune from the consequences of their votes. Meanwhile, our lives and the lives of generations of Americans to come are in peril and we, as a nation, will be forever changed. “Don’t let the muggles get you down.” - Ron Weasley ⚡️🗽⚡️ Wishing the happiest of birthdays to the one, the only, @lyonsflip! You’re the absolute best Oma a girl could ever ask for and I hope today is filled with good weather and even better drinks to celebrate! I miss you, love you, and can’t wait to see you again! 💖

If you want to help the American theater, . . . be an audience.
